Proverbs 13:17-19

¹⁷ An unreliable messenger engenders trouble,
    but a trustworthy envoy brings healing.
¹⁸ Poverty and disgrace befall one who ignores discipline,
    but one who takes correction is honored.
¹⁹ A desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul,
    while fools regard turning from evil as an abomination.
